Jennifer Lopez to Receive “Celebrity Fight Night Award” from Muhammad Ali
The Lopez Family Foundation and Jennifer Lopez are proud to be honored with the Celebrity Fight Night Award, presented by Muhammad Ali and the Celebrity Fight Night Foundation. This award acknowledges cultural icons that dedicate their time and notoriety to supporting charity.
Lopez will perform at the Celebrity Fight Night XIX gala on Saturday, March 23 in Phoenix alongside fellow honoree Steve Martin, emcee Reba McEntire and musical director David Foster.
“Her generosity and humanitarian work align with the vision of Celebrity Fight Night and will inspire a successful night of fundraising for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other great causes,” said Jimmy Walker, Founder and President of the Foundation.
Celebrity Fight Night premiered in L.A. in 1994 when local celebrities donned oversized boxing gloves in a comedic boxing match for 400 attendees. Today, more than 1,200 guests attend the star-studded event. The event no longer features boxing, but all admission and auction proceeds go toward helping Ali in his tireless fight for charities.
Jennifer, Lynda and The Lopez Family Foundation are proud champions of this year’s efforts.
